Peter owned and operated Nelson’s Flowers in Midtown Tulsa from 1984-1995. Friends thought Peter should have had his head examined, when he told them he was going to start a flower shop from the “ground up!” But Peter persevered. His shop soon had a great reputation for fresh flowers and superior service and design. His shop was doing so well that he accepted an offer to sell in 1995. After several years of colorful jobs, including owning an antique mall, Peter came back to flowers at Green Country Wholesale. When this company closed in 2008, Peter Joined Sooners’ Tulsa division where he has been at home ever since. Peter has many responsibilities at Sooner. Besides sales, Peter handles Accounts Receivable for the Tulsa branch and is our buyer for Hard Goods. Peter also checks in all hard goods and posts them to our POS system. Many of Peter’s customers regularly rely on his retail expertise.
